On a late-night wander through the wintry cold of the Bulgarian capital, after more than a few glasses of Rakia, I came upon a park with this statue that I think represents the legend of Europa, lit by a single streetlamp, which also highlighted the falling snow. All else was dark: a soundless, boundless, freezing dark, and for a moment I felt I was deep in Space, looking at a constellation come to life. It was a great night, and that was some dynamite Rakia, obviously.
