A Lone Boatman Drifts Past the Taj Mahal, India

I got lucky. I arose at 4am and then sped on a rented old rickety 'Hero' bicycle through Agra and then across a bridge and through some villages to finally reach Katchpura near the Mehtab Bagh gardens. Approximately 17-19 village dogs gave chase during the trip. My tripod came in handy as a threat. The sun was rising on one of the world's most wondrous buildings. The level of the Yamuna river was good. The reflection was nice. Then a local ferryman in a red shirt appeared out of the mist as the first rays of the day tickled the Taj awake. Fantastic in every sense of the word.
